They watch as a young Amity berates young Willow for being unable to perform magic well, telling her to leave and that their friendship is over. After the scene finishes, Inner Willow starts to try to burn Amity alive, but Amity stops her and shows them her own memory - Amity's parents Alador and Odalia telling her that if she didn't stop hanging out with Willow, they'd crumble Willow's chances of getting into Hexside. After Amity apologizes and promises to make sure no one - not even Boscha's gang - messes with Willow again, Inner Willow allows Amity and Luz to save Willow's memories, and keep the ones with Amity, no matter how good or bad. After Luz is accepted into Hexside, they greet her in front of the school congratulating her for getting in, despite a mix up of Gus's illusions.

However, Willow isn't aware of the true reason why Amity stopped being friends with her, as Amity had to act mean to get Willow to leav, and made her think that she wasn't powerful enough. After Luz tells her that she's one of the most powerful witches she knows, Willow regains her confidence and uses her plant magic to cut them loose and fight the hunters. They then regain control of the house and take the blame for controlling the house all around Bonesborough. Despite being gifted at plant magic, Willow's fathers enrolled her into Hexside's abomination track because of the opportunities the track provided. Unfortunately, due to her bad grades and inability to make a proper abomination, Willow detested her school life and was nicknamed "Half-a-witch Willow" by her classmates.
She loves and respects them, but at the same time Willow fears disappointing Gilbert and Harvey. While both were angered at the news, Gilbert was shown to be more lenient on her then Harvey. After reuniting with Luz and Camila, Willow fights off Kikimora and gets blasted off her staff. Hunter uses his new powers to save her and she blushes from being carried in his arms bridal style. After they are all teleported to the Titan's skull, Willow expresses gratitude towards Hunter for what he said back in the detention pit.
She is also a close friend of Luz Noceda, Gus Porter, and Hunter who would later become her boyfriend in the epilogue. After Willow and her friends become stranded in the Human Realm, Camila welcomes her and the others into her home. She is treated kindly by Luz's mother and is even given a camera by Camila that started her interest in photography in the Human Realm. After Amity says they can do more to get back home, Willow and the others misinterpret this as needing to help out more around the Noceda House, and she suggests fixing up the house's garden, showing that Willow wishes to return Camila's gratitude. Willow met Luz when she was on the way to school and was immediately fascinated that a human was on the Boiling Isles.
